Manchester United forward Anthony Martial has welcomed a baby boy with his girlfriend Melanie Da Cruz.

The 22-year-old forward left the Manchester United pre-season base in the United States to travel to Paris for the birth of his first child with Melanie.

Martial and Melanie both took to their social media accounts to announce the birth of their newborn baby boy.

Martial posted a picture of the newborn baby on his Instagram account along with a message which read, “Thank you Lord for giving me a second beautiful child in good health. Thank you, my love.”

Melanie also took to her Instagram account to announce the birth and name of the newborn baby along with the same picture used by Martial.

Her message read, “Hello World, I'm SWAN ANTHONY MARTIAL 25.07.18you you you you bless bless bless bless bless bless bless @martial_9 #proudmom .

“My feelings are indescribable I can not explain what's happening right now in my life Thank you God”

Jose Mourinho confirmed the absence of the striker in Manchester United’s penalty victory over AC Milan and stated that he requested to be alongside his partner.

Mourinho said, “I found out that Martial was going to Paris when he told me. It was two or three days ago.

“When it is personal reasons, everyone analyses that the way he thinks is the correct way.

“When a man is going to be a father — in this case, it's the second time he is going to be a father — and he decides it very important for him to go, nobody has the right to stop him to go.”

The newly born Swan is Martial’s second child, his first is a daughter he had three years ago with his ex-girlfriend Samantha Jacquelinet.

Mourinho is reportedly keen to offload Martial, it remains to be seen if he will remain at Old Traffordat the close of the summer transfer window.
